Gravel Aggregates

Gravel Aggregates is natural uncrushed gravel and has a variety of uses, e.g. footings, drainage and hardcore. It can also be used for building facings and for decorative pavements.

4 cm: This product is regularly used as drainage material, for general base layers and in lean mixed concrete production.

2 cm: Primarily produced for ready mixed concrete, this product is the most commonly used grade of gravel.

1 cm: This finer grade is extensively used in pre-cast products such as manhole covers, pipes, block paving etc. It may also be used as a filter medium for pipe bedding and as a surface dressing.

NGM offers a comprehensive range of aggregates for use as plastering render spars.

When used for new build or refurbishment application, rendering is easy and efficient to apply, ideal for use with either traditional two-coat plastering or modern pre-blended systems to provide maintenance-free protection and consistent coverage.

We supply a comprehensive range of products suitable for inclusion within the construction sector from plastering material through wall construction to under the floor tiling.

We also supply a comprehensive range of landscaping aggregate products ranging from decorative aggregates through to jointing materials and coloured aggregates.

Sand

Sand is an extremely flexible product; its uses are varied although it is primarily used for concrete production. Soft sand or building sand is a component in asphalt production although it is recognized more as the sand used by bricklayers and plasterers – and by mortar manufacturers.
